Hi all,

I just enabled all features of http://remix.kwed.org/ again, so head over and do some testing.
Even uploads are enabled now. At least for a while. ;)

I want to know if you get any Internal Server Errors.
Please try to be specific when you report them, not just "I got one!"

Anyway, any kind of feedback, either good or bad, is good at this point.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, kwed@kwed.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Yeah.
Seen this happen (through the logs) a couple of times, but not with the same frequency as before, hence the enabling of all features.
Sometimes there's a several hour gap between these errors, and sometimes they occure just minutes or even seconds apart.
And all this with no apparent reason.
Tracked it down as far as to seeing that one vital server component doesn't always speak to another vital server component.

A real bitch to debug. :/

I will be keeping an eye on things the coming days though, just to see how things run.

Install Prime95 on the server ...
http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm

... and let it run for about 24 hours (while it is disconnected to the net, mirror the site(s) on a different machine).
When the torture test shows any errors there is definately a malfunctioning hardware component, very often motherboard, cpu or ram.
I tried this test on about 1000 machines and it has an error recover rate of 100%.

Server component, as in software in this case.

This machine hosts a bunch of other sites, which means it's kinda hard to just pull the plug.
Besides, all other pages seem to be running just fine, or they just don't care about the occational ISE. ;)

Thanks to everyone who uploaded - now it seems my RKO workload is back to normal. Excellent timing, too. Aced the last exam of the semester yesterday.

And I'm not even hung over today. :D
