ok remix.kwed says 'don't mix a SID with a song you didn't create' (although I don't know if it means with the original song or your own cover of it), so I won't upload it there, so here it is instead:

 http://www.sectionz.com/detail.asp?rtype=mp3&szid=14208#

great giana sisters (again) mixed with jarre's oxygene 8, as they share the same 2 first bass parts.

Btw I think sectionz requires registration for download, and I know no one will bother, so if someone know some place where to upload it (and I don't mean temporarily)..
(tried vgmix - won't accept it, tried amigaremix - still queued)

wait, it'll be there, but temporarily:

As you are my GOD for creating FL Studio I am more than happy to host this file for you on my website under one condition - you send me the FLP file too :)

Send me a mail (paulmh@btinternet.com) and I'll send you the FTP details..

so it WAS the sytrus formant patch in 'swing to the left'? :)

btw there's not much to see in the FLP, all the synths are sytruses, and 2 drumloops.

Indeed it was Formant :) Slightly tweaks a little but mostly the default parameters. Actually, I used a little undocumented feature on the lead which is to use a slide event to fade out the instrument - fortunately I stumbled on this so I could make Formant fade out on some of the long notes without having to play around with the volume.

Anyway.... I am always interested in other FLP's as I typically learn by example - and what better example than from the man who created the tool in the first place :)

Mail me if you want me to host your MP3's and thanks for listening to my remix :)

Ahh, pure oxygene! This is a very nice mix. The second part could use a bit more work for it to become really special but clearly very nice as it is.
