Sid plug
Re: Sid plug
I'd personally stick with Mozilla Firefox (because it's fully standards compliant, which IE _isn't_), but this topic might help you:trace wrote:Is the a SID plug for IE that WORKS? any register hack that needs to get it to work?

Don't know if it still works or not, as many IE security patches have come out since...

Workaround Sidplay for MSIE 6 SP1
Hi, you still can listen to sid files if you change the 'Kill Bit'
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{06DD38D3-D187-11CF-A80D-00C04FD74AD8}]
set the data value of "Compatibility Flags" to dword:00000000
however it's not recommended by microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q240797&ID=KB;EN-US;Q240797
