Hi Folks!
Though it seems to be my destiny to release tunes always when upload at rko is disabled
I'm proud to present
Bombo (Tune 1), also known as Bombo - The City.
Thank you Ben Daglish for the original sid, wich has one of the most
appealing chord schemes ever and a melody we call in germany simply "Ohrwurm" (catchy catchy catchy tune)
.
(Btw Ben used exactly the same chords in Biggles, so he must have liked them too)
Like always I used lotsa guitars - a cheap Ibanez acoustic and my baby, a quite rare Ibanez P-II,
on wich you can have a closer look <a href="
http://www.ibanezregister.com/Gallery/p ... tm">here<a> - and for the rest Reaktor, Sampletank2 free and some FL-samples.
<a href="

P.S.: Sorry for the ending, but this song is still called Bombo!

Fresh, fast & funny. I see a red smiley coming along!
P.S.: Sorry for the ending, but this song is still called Bombo!
After that comment I expected a messy, gory & explosive end.

You're right, when it comes to
not being politically correct, usually I'm the right man - but after latest terrorism incidents
I couldn't do the messy, gory thing anymore so it's only explosive. (although I'd have all the SFX that'd be needed
)
@ifadeo: I just wanted to reply your Ibanez-comment, and
whoops there is a remark bout Die Aerzte ?!
And yes, Die Aerzte have been a very big influence for me - when I was a pimply teen I used to grab the Aerzte-LPs from my bigger sister's room to listen to them.

Ahemm, it was "Yes!".
Ibanez guitars
are great. In almost all cases fantastic price/value-ratio, even the cheap ones sound decent and have awesome handling and playability. And if you invest a little bit more the axes have character, too.
And they've been the first to offer such quality for low prices - already 15-20 years ago, when other manufacturers from the far east simply sold crap.
(No, I've no endorsement deal, but I'd like to have one
)

We played it last night on
The Z-Show and it was the first time I had heard this mix. Fantastic work RK - it made me "Rise Up".

I just grabbed it. As I said in my RKO shout, sounds like Mano Chau stole show at 3:13.

Thanks to all the people that gave the tune a cool rating @remix64!
(...I almost sound like a politician after election day...
)
Already reached position 8!
I didn't believe this to happen since my other tunes wobble around
position 200-400.

The ending definitely has shades of early No Doubt/Madness about it, which is fine with me as I'm very much into ska in general
