I'm looking for an old platform game that I was playing a lot on the C64. I've scanned the biggest game databases on the net without finding it. It was similar in style to Monty on the Run or Henry's House, but the thing I remember most is the music. It's the Turkish March by Mozart, played in an endless loop so you still - twenty years later - can't get it out of your head...

I'm hoping someone recognizes this! Listen:

Is it this one?

It is also played in Hyper Circuit and Mr Dig but these are not platform games :) Another possible is Mario Bros from Ocean (Fred Gray did the music)....

Thanks to the STIL for this info - all I remembered was Hyper Circuit which I remember playing a lot and had a really annoying version of this track.

Did you try the STIL (SID Tune Information List) text file within HVSC? That's normally the first place you should look, as if the tune's a cover it'll list what it covers.

Rondo Alla Turca is covered by quite a few games, but most likely Dynamite Dan as Skitz mentioned.

If you don't want to download the whole HVSC, then you can get STIL at http://stil.c64.org/

YES! It's Dynamite Dan. Thanks! Now I can play the game, cheat, beat it and end the therapy to get the music our of my head.

Thanks Skitz!
