Whoa! Being a fan of ol' sexy Shodan all the time
Very nice approach! I would like to hear more! :)
Bart also had a shot at System Shock 2, so you have good company there.

:-) i've heard pretty much all the system shock remix's created and too be honest never been truly happy with them.. they lose the atmosphere by becoming something there not.. funky tunes, or atmospheric run thoughs of the pda's... forgetting its roots.

this thing is breakbeat.. the main bulk of the music is driving techno music with heavy breakbeat's created to literally drown out the enemies moving about so you shit yourself when you turn around and captain hybrid is standing there urging you "UUEEERRRGG!! kILLL MEEEEE!!!"... <queue filled underpants>.

same link.. new wip.
ive updated it.. its nearly finished.. except for some last minute polishing
some comments would be greatfully recieved.. i have to say a HUGE thank you to vosla for being the ONLY person who wrote anything which saddens me somewhat that out of the 500+ members here only 1 wants to express their opinion on something that is important to all musicians.. growth... structure.. feedback people.. i cant improve or mature as a musician if no ones going to tell me where im going wrong.. or what im doing right... its not much to ask a few minutes of your time to listen.. a few more to say "its shit".. "thats good but" or "wow".. simple.

I really hate to moan and go on about things but this is a plague spreading across our wonderful scene.. and someone needs to speak out.. so i'll be the fall guy feel free to flame or whatever.. without the feedback from each other we aint gonna learn shit.. we aint going to step up step forward so thus the same old same old will be churned out.. and we might aswell rename slay radio to capital fm and turn rko into top of the fucking pops.. excuse my language but i do feel strongly.. you lot.. kwed/neil etc embraced me and gave me a home to put my "talent" out.. an outlet if you like.. and i just dont want to see it clogged up with the same stuff.. and people wont experiment and try things new if they dont get the feedback they need and deserve.

my 10c.

again thanks vosla for the kind words and the links very helpful... hope you like the 90% finished version.. once the proper one is up ill let ya'll know.. be a day or 2.

Whoops! I was digging through v3 and now there is the final version out.
The final one has nice twists I missed in v3 which was overall a bit repetitive (like the original medical theme which was an ambiente song ment to be background for the otherwise mostly silent game).
What sounds like a "normal" kind of techno piece at first gets a foreboding taint with the voice samples and then... There is no happiness where Shodan's around.
A wonderful take on System Shock 2!
Glory to the infamous! :D
All is lost.
