Methinks Boz will probably want to keep that pic in there anyway. A reminder of the glory days of hair!
Reminds me of those dating agency photos where it's a 10 year old picture of you that is used (not that I would know about that, obv)

Neil's point about the quality of the remix as a whole as opposed to the quality of the remix's sound/technical level is exactly how I think. Which is why many of my votes for this year's awards have gone to people/tracks whom I've enjoyed the most without them necessarily being the best sounding.
