I'd like some feedback here, in adding the links to the originals on amigaremix.com, should the posted link point to the page or the file itself?
Ex: Link to the page would be like:
http://exotica.fix.no/tunes/unexotica/g ... let_2.html
Ex: Link to the file would be like:
http://exotica.fix.no/tunes/archive/Aut ... tlet_2.lha
Vote away ...

I say link to the info page.
I strongly discourage people to link directly to the files on RKO. Even in the 'milder' form (with proper credits stated), deep linking is, as the English put it, "simply not cricket."

Jan is right, unless you obtain Exotica webmaster permission to deep-link the files.
Cheers.

Sometimes it is better to link to the page, because then people will find out more about the remix than just the file itself. It may also encourage people to look around the site(s) as well.

Link to the page. Apart from the afore-mentioned reasons, an lha file isn't going to auto-play in Winamp/Deliplayer etc... like a SID does, particularly if it contains multiple files.

Yeah OK I'll link to the page. I agree with all the above reasons and it's what I had in mind anyway, but I figured I'd be democratic about it.
Thanks to all for the input.
