The entire Commodore 64 computer - remixed!!

Post by Kenz »

Not a music remix - but a remix of the actual Commodore 64 itself!! I am of course talking about the C64DTV. You can pre-order the PAL (UK) version of it right now from:-

http://www.binaryzone.org/c64dtv/

I've sorted it out with the distributors and if you pre-order one now I'll get it shipped on the SAME DAY that the stock arrives (which will probably be slightly before it hits the shops).

Only £19.99* too! Barg!!

If you could spread the word to anyone who is interested in some C64 plug-and-play action then that would be mucho appreciated. Thanx guyz!

* - plus postage of course.

Good'un Kenzoid!

You know whether they used proper PAL versions of the games for this version, or merely left the NTSC fixed ones on it?

P.S.: Start stocking the USB Competition Pro as well. I need one. ;)

They've used different games for this from the NTSC version, so my guess is that they have used PAL or PAL-fixed versions.

Nice work Kenz!

The list on Kenz' page looks quite similar to the one I came across when news of the NTSC version first surfaced. Hence my worry.

Well, former C64 programmer Mark Greenshields has been working on the PAL version and the list IS different - for example, California Games is on the PAL version, but separate events were on the NTSC.

Yumyum. Thanks for setting the record straight Andrew. I just hope they included Paradroid and Nebulus on the PAL one as well.

Would rock if it had Hunters Moon and Citadel on it as well, but that's wishful thinking.

Why can't you plug in another joystick to play 2 players? wierd...

Most of the fun is to play 2 players or more on like Winter games...

Will get me one of these anyway :)

Two parcels from Kenz arrived yesterday. One was my copy of Thermostatic's Joy-Toy album from Music Non Stop, the other... my C64DTV from Gaming Non Stop! Yay! :D :D :D

Wicked, works well, good emulation apart from a few sound glitches and colours (cyan is too bright, for example), but great fun to just plug into the telly and have a laugh for a few minutes. Even found some of the hidden stuff...
