I always thought the sid 'Megasweet' by
Peter Van Conken Fonken* would make a great trancey remix (hinthint!)
* not his actual name!
And yes, she has lovely, er, vocal chords.

Well. When I heard it, I promptly added it to the rotational playlist, so head over to the site and request and vote for it!

I did an interview with PVCF for
Scene World, and this is what he said:
Scene World wrote:M. How did you get the handle PVCF, and what does it actually stand for?
P. I was a member of the non-computer-related group of bikers called P.V.C.F. And I used this name as ID for formatting the floppy disks, after one year I identified myself with this name. A very good effect is that the name was very strange on c64 and the scene wasn't used to such handles, so this name was very eye catching.
Nearly ALL mags until 1994 wrote that the handle was false, and it was a real adventure to use this strange handle.
The first thing which I was asked after joining Reflex was to change my name, to get a handle which would be a little bit musician-like
PVCF means =
Pro Velochistische Contra Fraktion. Its crap, I know
Loving the new track, very interesting...

It's quite a lovely piece of work. Amazing how the SID sounds and the voice come together...

I've had a work in progress of this lying around for aboot a year. May go back to after Firefly, but before Desert Dreams, and after ... that other tune I'm working on.

These are PVCF's comments about this over at Lemon64:
hey all
got some very nice feedback via email for this tune, thx folk! first i wasn't sure to release the track due the lack of quality (its a little bit boring, i have not enough time to work this tune out ;( ), but kyle said the tune have to be released here, so here it is.
to clear something up:
its COMPLETELY made with c64 sounds, including all basedrumms, scratchfx, snaredrumm which i have made in dmc4 10 years ago, the basses and chords and leads, all c64, including channel4 with hubbards digi set for drumms.
i've used quadrasid with normal delivered preset sounds, i only have had to make the arpeggios for the chords and melodys.
the only thing which is a fake is SAM, i didnt get sam to work on c64, so i have to use "sayit" from analog x, unfortunately Sad
i used a simple delay to fill up the mainlead, because the female singer would beat the mainlead down.
beside this this tune would be possible (without the female singer) on c64 and it would sound better, on a c64 u could use morespeed leads with vibrato and better filtersweeps.
would be nice to hear some more feedback !
keep rockin!
