Commodore Remix

Hey,

I haven't posted or updated many things lately; the Spellbound mix I was working on for two weeks is finished if anyone wants to check it out on RKO. Anyways, thought I'd remaster the Human Race mix since it was a bit of a rush job when I first released it.
The loud drums have been lowered in volume, the hi-end on the kit has been smoothed off with a tape analog simulator, all instruments are panned out properly and I mixed-down the end result using a new ultramaximizer

I dunno what it is about it that just makes my skin tingle.. but i am absolutely loving this tune so damn much.. absolutely mind crushingly brilliant.

the original sid had a massive impact on me when I was little, actually most of rob hubbard's stuff did.
I had this fixation with the human race tune 4 melody line so I kept running around humming it all the time.
The main reason for this mix was to try and bring it up to age, it's been fermenting in my mind for far too many years.

Flawless. First thing that came to my mind. Very professional.
Though I am no musician I would say it's an instant classic.

I might finish off work with the Spellbound mix next week, want to really go to town with it.

Ok so now my 2nd Uni year is over, I've been at this new Spellbound remix for roughly 5 days straight *brain overload*
It has got to be my most concentrated effort on anything I have ever tried recording, so I really hope my sweaty palms and insomnia pays off when I finally upload it to RKO this week

*Update*

The Spellbound mix is complete, lasting at the same length as the original C64 version; However I'm off to Ireland for a week, so when I come back I'm going to be mastering it for a couple of days.
