Yeah, agree with DHS. It's still irritating when people use C64 stuff and don't even credit it though (or ask permission). It's like "oh, that's clever, I think I'll pretend I did it and get all the credit". Sometimes like 14-Zero-Zero it's the only clever thing in the whole track. But the overstuffed egos of the musicians concerned won't let them admit it.

Maybe it's just me but I can't even hear the C64 influence let alone Commando.

Very C64esque, I can easily hear the Commando-like stab chords (high pitched). However, I don't think it's actually from Commando.

Actually sounds more like Human Race or Chimera, actually. Commando didn't have that much ring modulation.
