Stifflip & Company

Post by beyond »

Had to do something in this awful weather we have in Copenhagen atm. so I uploaded an old remix I did of Richard Joseph's "Stifflip & Co" as a silent movie tune. It's pretty basic and nothing awesome - so let's just call it a draft ;)

It's currently in the R:K:O pipeline, so here's the URL: http://www.beyond.dk/dl.asp?id=stifflip

Enjoy!

And Thomas Hillebrandts Bubble Bobble Silent Movie tune.

Haven't played Stifflip&Co for ages so this rendition is a nice trip down memory lane. Good job, Theo. :D

Yay!

I've always wanted to do Stifflip, but been too scared to try it 'cos I didn't want to bugger it up!

Well done Beyond! Definitely the Silent Movie soundtrack! Excellent!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it---in spite of it's simplicity and being so far away from today's popular untz-untz-untz remixes :) Never played the game, though, but when I heard the tune the first time, I just had to do something about it... It's such a joyous tune :)

Great fun, this, Theo!

Reminds me of watching Harold Lloyd as a kid (they'd always feature bits of his films on BBC2) and watching him dangle from a clock tower with suitable dramatic music in the same vein as this remix.

Hooray for Harold Lloyd, de do de do do do de do dooooooooo.... (and hooray for Theo, of course)

It suits the tune so well, this style. Now let's hear you do Monty on the Run in that vein - if you dare! ;)

Thanks Warren. I don't think we know Harold Lloyd in Denmark but when I listen to my own remix I get this idea for a music video... Which, I guess, is equivalent to some sort of free ticket to the nearest lunatic asylum ;)

Monty on the Run...?? garhhh!
