Need Feedback.

Well after much thought I've decided to go with Virtual Synths. I havent decided if I will sell the gear that I have made up of RackMounths and Synths.
Anyways, I'm learning my way around and have made a couple of things that I'd like to get some Feedback on.
Now please note these are rough mixes, I havent played around with EQ's or any special effect yet. Just wanted some opinions so I can move in the right direction.
A non C64 Tune, this is something I put together as part of my learning.

Here is Vikings Subtune 6 by Ben Daglish again trying to keep things simple for getting used to it.

Would appreciate feedback.

hi anax!
only could download the second link.
about that short piece i don`t really know what to say about it.
it just sounds like a normal synth imho.
could you point out what you think about it ?
do you mean it`s less sounding good than hardware synth ?
this could then be the old question about what`s better: analog or digital.
for me this question is not important. sounds just have to fit.

Hmm Try again.
It time out for me as well but I tried again than it worked.
If everyone else is having this problem let me know and I'll host it elsewhere.

Could have been a freaky timing event. I guess I tried around the same moment as oj oscillation and got the same error. Then I simply cut the file name and tried again, klicking each file from there. Voila.
I can't give qualified feedback on the tunes but "Far Away" was pretty much "ready for shipment" imho.
The drums were a bit predominant for my taste.
I know, I don't have the "ear" for such things but does it really matter you use analogue or digital synths if the result is converted into MP3 ?
Can't make out a difference.

did as vosla did. cutted faraway.zip in the link and it started dl.
i have to admit that the faraway tune is really sounding like ready to ship. the beats are just right loud enough and not too quiet.
this is typicall "eurohouse" sound.
so i guess it`s all the way a professionell sound that you can get with those plugs. now you have to decide if you wanna sell your hardgear.
i would say yes.
in fact, myself is using actually only softsynth for a long time .
but i feel i have to use my old akai and emu again, but it`s just annoying to load every presets/sounds into a sampler and mapping the midi channels and the whole stuff by those small lcds.
nowadays i just open emulator x and create multisetups by just moving and dropping the mouse and make just a few clicks to store the setup. very convenient.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'll have to sit and think of a nice C64 tune to remix
