What?! Another one? Platoon Tunnels Arrangement

Post by Feekzoid »

Heh, two in one week eh? Must be getting back to my old .MOD writing habits of old.

This and the thrust cover have actually been on the back-boiler for months, and I've wanted to finish them so I could get on with some new works.

It was also a challenge for me to get an arrangement in at under 4 mins ;)

As usual I've hit RKO with it but its at my webpage as usual so I cant get an opinion on it ASAP.

I was going to master this one in 5.1 audio but got lazy and just wanted it done.

Forgot to mention that the cover was inspired by John Carpenter, and the movie Apocaypse now ;) But you're sure to figure that out anyway!

Sorry, the filename causes some problems, I'll correct it when I get home tonight.

Filename corrected.

FeekZoid and Platoon.

When I saw what this remix was about, I got moderately excited. When I got to listen to it, I was not disappointed. Very nice ambient feel. Two thumbs up!

platoon remixes

Post by exo »

I'm glad there's several platoon remixes because the original is great and most remixes also are; some lack some sophistication but most have great instruments and nice pleasing arrangements. Speaking as a non-remixer. :) I'm also not sure if all subsongs are covered yet.

A top release! Even the use of gun-firing and explosions in the beginning is extremely well-done and helps creating the proper "dark" atmosphere.
