Law of the West

How about using Law of the West for your next grand remix? I get all nostalgic when listening to the music, especially subtunes 1 and 5, so I'm a bit biased. See for yourself, and thanks.

Platform: Commodore 64
Game: Law of the West (1985)
HVSC path: Bogas_Ed/Law_of_the_West.sid

Then someone ought to do Alter Ego... wait, it doesn't have any music. ;)

A rhyme, my friend
You would not end
Until you hit "send"

Sometimes you rules need to bend
So the words would better lend
a bit more to the flow
just to give the tune some go

Um... Whatever, I have thing to do
So I must now leave you

I have this idea about a remix that I will call "Law Of The West - City Walk" or something.

The different songs appear just like they do in the game. Like a Law Of The West-medley. That means some songs appear more than once. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Personally I think the music in the game is very good allover and I believe that it won´t be too repetitive doing like that. The bank robbing music? OK, two times max.

BUT I don´t think the music is good enough to make good remixes of just song #1 or #5 like suggested. (At least not if I would try. )

What do you guys think :?:

A medley? Sounds like a plan! 8)

Agreed, a medley does sound good. Was thinking of a similar approach for another Accolade/Ed Bogas game...

Not yet, but I think it is a start for a quite different soundscape.
"Are you a little trigger-happy ?" ;-)
