It's hard to describe just how happy I am right now. My team Grimsby Town overcoming the mighty Tottenham Hotspur! It's a staggering achievement and well deserved for Town, they outplayed Tottenham. I didn't go to the game but watched the whole thing on TV, got arguably the best seat in the house. Can it get any better than this for Town?
If we draw Chelsea in the next round at Blundell Park, it will be perfect!
Now, I will wait for the DVD of the game to appear so I can milk it for the next 20 years or so!

Only saw a bit of the game, Grimsby played really well.
And no-one can say it was a "weakened" side Tottenham put out - King, Carrick, Jena, Defoe et al.

Aye, barring a couple of injuries to Spurs, it was a full strength squad that made the trip. That fact alone makes the victory so much sweeter.

Not to mention Neil's probably still merry from Donny Rovers beating Man City on penalties on Wednesday night, and to be fair, they deserved to win as well. Only next time they should hire a ref that actually doesn't send people off wrongly ;)

LOL!
Another 2 red cards in our game today for the opposition, made even sweeter since it was our rivals Barnsley (won 2-0 btw).
Not a bad draw for us in the third round.. At home to gilligham who are struggling a little in our league. Ok, no big gun but this gives us a great chance to make it to round 4.
Great win for Grimsby Chappers.. i know exactly how you feel.

And even Barrow trumped a 5-1 win against Hebburn Town (whoever the hell they are) in their FA Cup Qual round...
