OK, it's been mastered... so now we wait for replication and painting and shipping. Fingers crossed for the middle of this week...

The chap in touch with the idiots at Lynic says:
"OK, I`m told there are getting printed NOW.......... should we believe them, Chris has told me this is the case........"
Chris being Chris Jones, manager at Lynic Group.
Now we have to find out whether they use screen printing (like the other two disks) or litho printing. I told them to use screen for consistency, though if this ever goes to a repress I'm going to ask for litho on all three disks.
It's at least nice to be able to get the news out... it's become such a f*cking saga...

Well, it WILL be this week, because I hired... the A Team!
OK, Hannibal was looking a bit grey and BA looks more like Gary Coleman (and Face is a bit wrinkled). And Murdock keeps going on about transporters.
But I'm confident they'll do the trick.

What, you didn't hire Magnet and Steel instead Chris? :-o *
Seriously, good to see that they're finally getting the loving mastering treatment that they deserve. Once you've got a properly working 2 disc set in your hand it will be mine for sure. I ran out of dosh at BITLite and really wanted the Makke CD, so it'll be good to actually purchase it and not have to wait for a swapsie. The footage looked really good and I'm sure it'll be a great watch.
* (people who don't understand that gag are advised to purchase Max and Paddy's Road To Nowhere Series 1 on Monday 3rd October and watch episode 2..)

This is when we find they've accidentally put an old S Club 7 gig on the disc instead.

Hi Chris,
Are they still sending the new disc one's to the people who bought them at the show directly? are these going out at the same time as you're getting yours? (... in the next few days)
I've resisted the temptation to watch either disc until I have them both in a working format.
Cheers,
Ste.

We decided that we'd send out the replacement BIT Lite discs ourselves from here, for the simple reason that it will be a lot quicker, and we'll know they've gone out. We'll be invoicing for the cost and time involved, and there will probably be an element of compensation involved.
So, if the disks arrive today, everyone in the UK should get their disc by the weekend.
