RetroGamer comeback?

Post by sumppi »

I got a letter from Imagine Publishing telling me that they've bought the rights to publish RetroGamer. Too bad they're not bound by the existing subscriptions (although they will give three free issues to previous subscribers as a nice gesture). The first "new RetroGamer" will be out on 8th of December.

Anyone have any more info on this? Should we expect crap or goodness? :)

I'd suggest cautious optimism. It's a new team, headed by the bloke who was doing gamesâ„¢'s Retro section, and it'll be designed by Markie of Zzap! and Crash fame.

Well, they are hoping to get a lot of the old freelancers on board, and Darran Jones starts work on Monday...
