Hi,

does anyone know where I can get a decent cello sample?
Not a string section but a single one?
(Maybe a violin would work, too)

Thanx,
Eike

What programs are you working with?

Doesn't matter, some raw multiple samples would be sufficient.
I'd even take mp3s.

EDIT: Ah, a friend of mine got the Edirol Orchestral which is quite
ok for my purposes. Thanks for your time.

Hi.

I took a chance on this recently and it has VERY good qualty samples.

Synful orchestra is the most realistic I have used for cello, but the samples from here would come a close second :) That said, Edirol sounds OK in a mix, but I would'nt use it for anything delicate...

If your happy with Edirol, just ignore me ;)

Orchestral *is* using samples.
