Hey Neil buddy,
About your editorial:
We love you man! Don't take it all too harshly. It's the big problem with free stuff. People get used to it and want more, more and more. Maybe we need to calm this whole scene down a bit for a while. Less CDs, less compos. After a while the interest will return, you'll see.
I am with you and i think that I speak for many others out there (here?) when i say that you have done a great job so far, organizing competitions, making CDs, hosting the site and much more!
But honestly, I fully understand your point of view and the feelings you have right now!

We'd rather you took your time Neil and did something, rather than promising something that NEVER appears.
In a related topic, I was sorry to see all the cancelled plans and announcements on the front page today. Hope this doesn't signal the beginning of the end...

rest assured, it's not the beginnng of the end.... it's just back to basics really.

Well I meant the news topic of course.
It's not fair to say that, Merman. Neil promised an R64 CD and we got it. He promised us another one and we'll get that too. He promised a new forum and we got it. He promised reviews and we got them. He promised prizes for the compos and we got them. What exactly are you referring to - other than the radio show?

thanks for the support guys, i had a dreadful off day. yeah i suppose the lack of interest in the compo got me down a bit.
not about me, i can handle that, but i was disapointed to let a friend down (DRF). Thats something i can't handle. I don't like to let people down.
btw, Raf, just to add to that list, i promised a chat client..... hehe! we got one now
thanks peacey

I wasn't saying that Neil didn't keep promises. In fact, just the opposite - the CD exceeded my expectations. What I meant was that the whole Remix64 project is a labour of love rather than a commercial project. So, Neil should take his time, get things right and release when it is 100% ready - whether it's the editorial, the second CD, whatever.

With respect to all who have posted here, you are stating the obvious with regards to Neil.
Remix64 is available to all who are interested in the scene.(im stating the obvious).
And its available why? and by whom?
Respect to Neil and Lman for creating this place(im stating the obvious, again).
Mick.
