Howdy @ all...

...this site already has 3 versions of the soundtrack "Master of Magic" (C64). And i really love each of them, because they are all different styles and unique.

- Master of Magic (OJ Osc's medieval mix)
- Master of Magic (faerytale mix WIP)
- Master of Magic ('97 XG Mix)

But personaly i miss one version. I mean, Master of Magic is a game where one person fight's himself through a dungeon. It's dark, mysterious, dangerous and evil.
So i would like to see a 4th type of this soundtrack, which provide a dark ambience. That's in my opinion the true intention about this song.

Thx @ all...

"Alone in the dark" .. hmm a crossover. I am no musican, but i think it is a nice idea.

Essencial is, that it sounds a little darker, so I could use it in my roleplaying (Pen&Paper) group. Buti would be glad to hear such a crossover! ;)

MoM was the first RH SID I heard, and it made quite an impression. It's absolutely dark IMO. The dark sections are in fact absent from the Larry Fast original - which I think reveals RH's intentions for the piece. The classical violin section toward the end (very 'up' harmonically) is RH original too, but all the better for it.

It was a colleague of mine at Ocean that told me the tune was from a LF album. I tried for years to find it. I think it was 5 years ago that it became available online, through LF's site, so I finally got to hear the Synergy original. RH's has more depth and tonal colour - from 3 channels - and he probably completed it within a day.
