Musical Makke Soundalike

Post by Kenz »

Here's something I spotted at work - it's a track from the album 'Teenmachine' by Insekt which kinda reminded me of Makke's splendid Cauldron II remix.

Clickyforsnippet!

Insekt gooooooood (but not as gooooood as Makke gooooooood) :)

It does sound a bit like my Cauldron II, which in turn is almost a sound-rip-off of Carl Bartos "The Message". ;)

Sounds bloody good! Might have to check Insekt out. :)

I only have one Karl Bartos CD which is "Esperanto" I bought it some time in 1994 or 1995. Great tracks and has Kraftwerky Feel to it but yet tries to be different.

I think you'll like his Communications album. It's verry Kraftwerky, melodic and...uhm...vocoded. ;)

It has some really excellent tracks!

Another one you might like to try is "Business & Pleasure" by Saporro 72 - Karl Bartos is credited in the booklet and it's very Kraftwerk-esque in places! Full soundclips can be found on the MNS site. :)
