Newbie Question RKO

Hey all, question because i'm unsure... I recently had my first tune uploaded on RKO (R-Type Title), but i've decided that i'll rework it. Now, i'm newish to making music and very amature and learning myself as I go so everything is just trial and error - It could be a loooooong time before i get a result. Question is, would I beable to re-upload it or get the tune changed, or is the original the definitive one?

Thanks.

Great community, glad to see the C64 still lives on.

Hi ricktn1,

first of all, welcome to this community! :D

Don't worry, the vast majority of us here are amateurs who have had a long way of learning. The comments you get for a tune might appear harsh sometimes, but in the end most of them are a valuable and honest reflection of the people's opinion of your effort. So it is always nice to see someone getting something out of constructive feedback. :)

In the end, no one's music is "perfect", that's a far too subjective matter. The most important thing for you is to be happy with it yourself, and to have fun doing it.

Now to your question, get in touch with Jan Lund Thomsen of RKO for a re-upload.

Enjoy your stay! :D

Hey there, thanks for your reply :)

I'm actually quite glad for the critisism in some of the feedback, because in a way, it tells me in what aspects I can improve myself. I'm never going to be the best, and i'm not even going to try... I just want to contribute to a community that I thought was long forgotten and in the past with my childhood. Up until a few months back, I never dreamed it could be so alive, and i'm glad it is!

To all the contributing remixers out there, keep up the good work :D
