by matt grey i do believe, always liked his saw synth stuff for some reason they always seemed more aggressive than many other sid tunes.

anyway, this is v1 and will follow the rules of the sid (for once) simply because i like it so much.

any thoughts and suggestions are happily recieved as usual and again apologies for crapidshare.

I'd love to download this, but rapidshare is satan and it will not allow me download anything ever, can anyone mirror?

I like it.

The drums reminds me of an Amiga demo which was called MR.Bass or something and had a black and white look to it with a needle bouncing to the beat.

sorry about the rapidshare thing, ive got no other alternative means to share files (unless someone know's of a better place)

anyway heres the next version.

I've fleshed it out a bit more, and its starting to sound quite nice (to me anyway)

http://rapidshare.com/files/1897595/bmx ... r.mp3.html

still to add -

a breakdown section with some fat bass action (it wouldnt be me without it now would it hehe)

I'd like to diversify the beat a little more, maybe have a few different breaks to make sure its not monotonous and just goes on and on forever.

Chord progression of the mainline which you hear at the very end is as you can probably tell.. off, so im going back over that sometime tomorrow to make it sound a bit better... and mess about with gating etc to get some funky little effects in there.

I need to turn the sub bass up (more difficult than it sounds cos with alot of my old tunes it makes everything else sound super muddy if i do it wrong, but its definitely lacking in ooomph)

same goes for the drumbeat, which sounds too far into the background for my liking, i will sort that out.

I just noticed listening over again that the vangaurd isnt playing what its meant to be playing either, so i'll give that a slap sometime tomorrow too and force it into submission.

and of course.. finish the damn thing to put it up on rko.

another week of work me thinks.

again suggestions etc greatly recieved and digested.

I'm downloading the update and will give my 2 cents. :)

For those having difficulties with Rapidshare. You can leech from here.

-> Download Link here <-

Link works if you click in your browsers URL bar and hit enter. Not sure why but that is how it works.

I like it... very groovy. Now if I were collaborating on this track ;) I would add a few bits of High Pitched whistely ...booooooeeee.....bwoooooopps....possibly sliding notes.

Might work might not...but would be interesting to try. :D
