[NEWS] C64Audio.com CD tracks now on Remix64

From the news:
From today on, a third category to Remix64's existing C64 and Amiga categories has been added: Tracks available at C64Audio.com

Consequentially, you will now be able to vote, shout for, and review remixes that have been published there in the past and future. So fire up your CDs and start voting, a great opportunity to give something back to the arrangers and composers.

Oh, and if you have arranged some of the tunes yourself, you will also be able to publish background information for them at "MyRemix64 -> Edit tune infos"

Now, that's a brillant idea! All the remixing mayhem in one place to browse!
Gives a perfect overview about what has been done before when I'm about to choose a new track for remixing either.
The only thing I'm missing is a direct link to an iTunes preview on each tune.

The preview feature is on the todo list. :)

Yup: actually, I'm still hoping to have my own MP3 shop up and running before the next century, so the links will be to there :)

If I admit defeat, then iTunes it is :) It's just my shop will be better value.

Very nice feature, but there is a problem. I have no idea what version of the tunes each entry in the combo-list represents. I am missing an indication of album/dvd title :)

Cool feature. Hm, what if you could see them on kwed as well, only just with previews. Well nice work! :)

That helped a lot! But... on the BIT DVD we (PPOT) have some of the songs twice, ie on the DVD and the cd. I cannot see which is which :)

Furthermore, the cd charts seem to be broken now... sniff :?

If we're going to include all the songs on the DVD, perhaps we should leave off the CD? Unfortunately since it's all in the same product code, I can't segregate them (at C64Audio.com I use "disk number")

Hiho! :) Things were broken because I was working on improving the import.

There's an indicator for Disk / Track number now, which I will also add to the tune info page. (fortunately Chris really has his data in order)

I've noticed that "Project Galway" is among the albums at
http://www.remix64.com/albums.html

As this is not a remix album but a recording of the original SIDs, what are we supposed to judge over? Martin Galway's musical skills??? I don't think they need to be put under discussion.

My suggestion would be to skip this album, or to make it unvotable.

What do the others think?

Hmmm. You make a valid point there, omoroca.

Indeed, it just kind of went along with the rations...
