Hello,

I want to remix a tune using some samples from the original SID. Is there any tool or workaround to extract the original SID-samples to WAV?

Sidplay2 allows you to just play one channel.. Also has a record to wav function..

@the_JinX: Why u send a link to "Getting started as a Remixer" to someone who has already submitted remixes since 2001?

I think there were two versions of sidplay 1, one where you could mute the channels and one where you couldn't.

I don't think this kind of help is useful here. The guy is gooood! ;-)

@datucker: Open this link http://www.gsldata.se/c64/spw/sidplayw.html and click the topmost "Download" button to get sidplay1 for Windows. But it can only play the PSID versions of the SIDs. Don't hesitate to ask me if you need help with the settings.

Here's a sample rip, which I just did:

Thanks for the helpful hints folks!

I could have found the solution using Sidplay myself... It didn't get across my mind.

Stupid me... :frustration:
