I've seen many of these WII remote things. Especialy for making music.

How are they interfacing them?? Everyone seems to be doing this.

I believe that since it's probably a voltage coming from the remote, it's most likely just a simple CV convertion they've done for the interfacing...

Wonder how it would sound if it was strapped onto my d... and I did the "helicopter" :D ... no... joke aside; it would be nice to try this and see if it's any real use for musical expression (I'm not refering to the joke).

Look Around You, quality telly, that. Synthesizer Patel is class, isn't he? Ever seen that Dynamite Dan game that Rob Manuel of B3ta did for the show?

Someone made a mash up dance mix of Tony Rudd's "Machadaynu" that was on the show as well. Part of the "Music 2000" contest:

I think the dance version was by The Freelance Hairdresser. I have it if anyone wants it.

Just what I wanted to say. With this kind of playing skills, she could play the string solo of Abbott/Hubbard's BIT1 Monty 97 version in real-time. Awesome!

That'd be me, then. Blimey... 20 years since I was writing C64 music and I pop up on a C64 music forum for something else entirely. Anyway, I just knocked out a video for it myself, seeing as how the other attempts weren't terribly good... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCTj5e2XcUY

I'd rather be remembered for this than Atom Ant, put it that way...

Fantastic! Loved the Look Around You Music 2000 contest, and I've had the MP3 of the remix on my hard drive for ages!

Whoa! Hang on a mo, if you're the musician that makes you Ben Hayes, ex-Sonic Graffiti, and Nutt '67 on Compunet! :)

Welcome aboard, squire. You may remember me pestering you many years ago about your C64 tunes ;)

Correct! 5 points. The C64 stuff's really embarrassing for me to listen to now (I didn't really have a clue about what a 'tune' was), but I suppose it laid some sort of groundwork for the epic things I've made since. Ho ho.

Theramin looks pretty real to me. It's not often you see one of the proper ones with the two ariels. I'd love one, but with my notorious tremble I doubt I'd get a lot out of it.
