Shadowhunter:
Sorry for the late answer...
First of, thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated
Actually I did not know of this Vollenwieder undtil everyone started talking about him
... I just love the sound of the harp in general, and found that it fit this tune perfectly.
About that "Blaster Beam"... erm, what's that?
The low bellish sound is in fact a layering of two sounds... a very low "boom" from a drumsample, and a low bellish sound made on the KORG Z1 synthesizer...
For the track I used:
E-mu E5000 Ultra sampler (the harp, sound FX and tambourine)
Yamaha FS1R (the female choir sound, this is synthetic, no samples)
KORG Z1 (the bellish boom)
Elektron Machinedrum (the rhythmic parts)
KORG Wavestation SR (the bass part)
Oberheim Matrix-1000 (the egyptian synth part)
E-mu Morpheus (the strange bellish FX in the late rhythmic part)
T.C. Electronics D-Two (delay FX)
T.C. Electronics M-One (reverb FX)
That's about it...
