I think, its not the best remix ever.. Im really pretty new to this stuff. I made some modules with Pro/Startrekker on the amiga 17 years ago and restarted to make music with madtracker in december 2007.
Now, im working on a new version. Its not finished yet, but please tell me what you think about it:
Its great to see that you are enthusiastic about Remixing the classics.
I had a listen to both you're mixes, I like both works... may I suggest that you do some more work on the first one and polish it up here and fix some timing and notation issues.
I love you're 2nd Version... but at 3:12 is a bit short for my taste especially for such a upbeat tune... may I suggest you increase it by 2 minutes?

To be honest, both versions are unfinished. Like i wrote, i sent the 1st version to remix.kwed.org and the feedback wasnt not as good as i hoped. I wanted to create a better version with the 2nd one. and the final version will be longer (about 5 mins) and the intro is far away from being finished now.
Just want to know, if the 2nd one is a bit better than the 1st or if its complete crap. I think, i heard the spellbound-tune too often last days...

There is another thread discussing the finer points of actually waiting a bit before uploading to R.K.O. A good point was made, to walk away from the remix and come back with fresh ears and work on it some more and polish it up before uploading to R.K.O
I do like the 2nd version vs 1st version however that does not mean the 1st version is not good.
