Nice, I've just got my bread bin out of the cupboard. I'll be setting it up shortly.

I've had my c64 hooked up with my tv for a couple of years now, unfortunately for dust-collection only. I have to buy a monitor if I'd have any chance of seeing what's going on in Prophet(yeah, the very cartridge. A friend of mine says you can't even save your tunes with it:/).
Anyways, what monitors should I look up on Ebay?

I also have my (2nd) C64 in my cupboard. And the 1541-II is hooked to one of my old PCs for fiddling with D64s and the real stuff.

Oh, I know of that 1541-clones that work with smartcards.
They are not 100% compatible and I just don't need one now.
Despite having a full time job now, I don't have really that much more money than I had when I was in Hartz IV to spend on such low-priority gadgets. Still poverty level back here. :-/

I got an amiga 600 that still works and my old faithful T1200 which despite being beaten to death on my occasions by falling rubble and other crap is still alive.
