Chris told me to do this...

I was whiplashed into posting here (and not Lemon64) by Chris, so here I am. Just kidding, of course
I've just finished my Dutch Breeze/Robocop 3 (Maniacs of Noise) remix
http://www.popmusic.dk/robocop3remix.mp3
This is my tribute to Jeroen Tel, since I owe him for some divine inspiration (check out the STIL file for Dan Dare III)
Guess that has to be the best selling C64 related song (more than 1.1 million copies, which is a whole lot more than Zombie Nation), although "This Is How We Party" is merely inspired by Dan Dare III and not a cover.
This is my first post here so greetings to everyone.
You can check out my website on

You should do a proper commercial C64 cover... one of Rob's, Ben's, Martin's or Fred's perhaps
Then they could go to Hawaii, and we could
have some remix fun with record company mechanicals...

Yeah, as you very well know the mechanicals is where it's at!
The SOAP stuff made £500.000 in copyrights alone (mechanicals and performance), the royalties are nice but you get screwed a lot on those by the companies. Mind you, I had to split those with another guy.

Hejsa... Din big shot producer
Det er altid godt med flere danskere her... Jo flere, jo større chance for total overtagelse af stedet... Først Remix64, siden verden!!!
To all you non-danes the above means:
There are some very nice people here. We are all here together in harmony and equality... Or something to that effect

Yeah word up! (sticking to English now)
Did you know that my friend Anders Øland (from Barcode Brothers) is also totally into C64? He was actually the first one to notice the similarities between "This is how we Party" and Dan Dare III.
It's pretty cool that Denmark is relatively strongly represented in the scene. Don't know about world domination tho?!!?!
Link to your stuff? Maybe I should just check out Kwed again

I'm loving this remix a LOT. Two classic tunes by Mr. Tel smoothly linked together - and some nice authentic sounds used as well.

Thanks merman. It's actually just one tune, Robocop 3 which also appeared in the Dutch Breeze demo, and not two different tunes. The underlying synth theme is an original addition of mine.
Nice pic tom, have you noticed how 3/4 are rather well-fed, or as Cartman would say, "I'm just big-boned".
BTW I've always admired 666's productions (I have some singles and a couple of albums, including the DVD one). It's so accurately mixed that I use "D.E.V.I.L." as my reference song of choice for speaker testing and positioning, as well as bass or subwoofer response accuracy.

666 is amazing stuff, and as you probably know Ali (DJ Aligator) is also a huuge fan.
Almost none of my stuff have hit in germany, yes #1 Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Belgium, France, Australia, and #5 in the UK, but no real chart positions in Germany except for Toy-Box and Barcode Brothers, but probably very low, I can't even remember.
PS. You should read my quite surprised reponse in the other thread "What to do next"
