Stupid fuck asshole. There's NO excuse for drunk driving. I utterly utterly hate when people do that.

I read about it to, the driver said ha had sniffed heroin before he started driveing...

What a prick, after his nice stint in prison he should never be given a license again.

My reaction was a little bit different than yours.
Not gonna say anything more than that.

Don't quite see what is so sensational about it. Happens every single day where I live.
In fact not so long ago, friend of mine almost died trying to avoid drunken bastard driving
full speed in the wrong lane. They usually never spend a day in prison. If they get caught
at all.

Then again our judicial system is a bit funny. You get caught with a joint, you get 3 years
in prison. And you'll probably will never get a job again coz of your criminal record. On the
other hand, if you kill someone, you get 5 years in prison. And you're out in 2 on account
of good behaviour. And not once it happend that killers had jobs and documents stating
they never commited crime. And they kept their jobs even after this exposure in media.
Why? Coz nobody gives a shit here.

Personally, my outrage went against drunk driving in general, not this particular case. The croatian laws seem to be a bit easy on killers indeed

Basically I detest all kinds of crimes that harm other people. I have no problem whatsoever if someone drinks, or smokes joints or whatever, as long as it's only himself he's harming. It's different when this person pilots a car in that state, or gets agressive and looks for trouble.

It's tragic. I'm wondering why the police car is out of the way and not in between the DUI guy and the cyclists...
