Sara and I are going to the concert in Copenhagen, and Sara really wants to go to Arvika festivalen as well - where Depeche also plays - so I might actually see them twice on the same tour.

I know a few Canadians who have bought DM Tickets for the German part of the tour.
Its amazing how some venues are already sold out and there is no official start date, and or the new album is not even out yet.

It could potentially be the last one, its called "Tour of the Universe"....well maybe they can have a "Tour of the Galaxy"
Dave Gahan never seems to age... but Martin and Fletch are showing the age.

I read an interview with Gahan about six months ago, where he said he runs for an hour every day, and works out in the gym pretty much every day as well. So, no wonder he looks fit.
Gore is starting to look a mess, really. Fletch just looks his age, imo.

Meh. They're only playing the O2 Arena in that London. Double meh.
Then again, is it me or has some of their recent albums been not that good? Just hope any new one that they're doing is a return to form!

I have high hopes for the new album. I found Exciter boring as an album, but with a couple of good tracks (Dream On is really really good). Playing the Angel was a good album, imo. It houses two or three songs I skip when listening to it, but over all I think it's good.
Gahan showed some potential as a song write on Playing the Angel, Suffer Well being the prime example, though his solo albums have failed to impress me.
They'll never reach the level of Violator, Music for the Masses or Songs of Faith and Devotion again. But in an age where most main stream releases pass by without as much as a hint of an original idea, I think Depeche Mode still provides creative output.

I own one of DM's old EMAX IIs.... Despite it's battle scars - it still works
