Hoy-a-hoy shipmates,

Just thought I'd let all that are interested know I've launched a new SID only radio station. More info and access to the stream can be found at http://www.6581.co.uk or 'The SID Station' in shoutcast yp.

The front-end site is still a little basic and 'beta state', but the stream is up running and hosted 24/7 with over 700+ SIDS in a constant rotation. This number will continue to grow as I'm adding more all the time.

This is just the start of a larger plan to dominate Internet Radio with All Retro/SID Radio Stations/Satations.

So I don't think that there will not be any competition

Ok, IMHO their is no need for competition. We are not corporations fighting for profits, we are doing this for free as it's something we love. Or at least I am, I really don't see it that way.
On a different note, thanks guys for the well wishes. Much appreciated.

Regarding competition:

There are fears that to much shows water down the soup but I don't see that coming...
There are different tastes and different shows. Nobody owes the listeners a show, nobody owes a radio a listening. So if one radio loses listeners to another radio, it's just a matter of a lot of taste and some quality.

Its a great thing that The Internet brings the global village together like this... There is not much going on as far as I know when it comes to retro here in Canada.
