Technically you need an RSS feed with media enclosures for it to be a proper podcast. Which also enables you to get listed on the iTunes Podcast Directory - not a half bad place to gain some listeners.

I just used the "blogcast" app that comes with the hosting and this is the automated RSS feed (I've never tried it) --- http://c64walkabout.com/podcasts-only/rss2.aspx

Would that enable me to get on iTunes or do I need to do it differently?

Ah, my bad. I didn't notice the Podcast RSS link on your site.

If you look at the contents of the feed it's already got all the various meta-data set up, so it's ready for iTunes. You could run it through feedburner.com if you're a stats-geek and submit the URL that feedburner gives you to iTunes, or - if you don't need fancy stats just submit the podcasts-only/rss2.aspx one directly.

Not just you, I missed it too.

RobinsonMason, Perhaps a large RSS Icon nearer the top of the page would help to get more people subscribing.

It's also a good idea to include the subscription link in the post in case people see your post through an RSS reader rather than by visiting the site.

I'll make sure to add the feed link to my podcast posts and will check out the other options with feedburner too.

I also changed the location of the feeds so they appear close to the top of the page.

Mind you, you've still got links to the old podcast feed in the sidebar and in the address bar. Best point all of them to the new one.

Also, there's no <link> back to each accompanying blogpost in the podcast feed.

I still need to add link backs...darn.

I finally fixed my mic by the 4th podcast...

Man, after listening to SubZero, Jan, and Boz's podcasts/live shows mine sound mega amateur hour.

Now that I'm more familiar with my equipment and using Audacity, I'm going to make sure my next 'cast sounds a lot better....

Heck, I'm putting myself to sleep here -- gotta do something about the talking parts to spice them up.
