Hey all,

since the "Post your artwork" seems to remain popular over the years, do you think we should launch a subforum for it?

Hmm, this might be a stupid question but what would be the difference with a subforum instead of the ongoing thread? A posibility for people to make threads for their own artwork?

The ongoing thread is quite messy (in a good way). There is sooo much creativity going on here! \o/

I'm one of the guilty ones for the mess.

In the future I can move my work in Private PM's and leave the main forum for just single artwork posts?

How would a subforum work?

Well in a subforum each piece of art could have its own thread, instead of having them all in one.

Hmm... if you think a Subforum might work, than its not a bad idea. I've never seen a subforum before.

Subforum is a great idea.

I vote for the subforum.

The "Birthday wishes" is a subforum for example - kind of similar to a subfolder in windows.

Sure, why not? I think it would be extra awesome if we were to also make volunteer album art for tunes we like.

Maybe a sticky thread within the sub forum just for that so people could download it and apply to their MP3's as desired.

Of course the album art would have to look good shrunk down to the size generally used by iPods, Windows Media Player, etc.

Speaking of which, does anyone currently do album art for amateur C64 remixes? I hate how my iPod is filled with songs and no art associated with the songs (except a generic C64 logo I added myself).

Even "album" art that is specific to a particular remixer would be cool.

What is the Resolution/dimension for your iPod?

600X600 seems to be the standard - and it gets scaled down to 320X240 on smaller iPods automatically.

I posted a new thread for album art - maybe Lman or another mod will make it sticky (please)?
