Now here's something you don't see every day.
A friend of mine bought himself a CS80 which had to travel all the way from New Zealand to The Netherlands. Upon arrival it turned out that about 40% of the keys didn't respond to aftertouch and it was really seriously detuned. There were also a few keys that would only play at maximum velocity so we decided to take it to my place to take a look at it.
Some 36 replaced 4000 series CMOS chips and a seriously long tuning session (2 hours) later it is working again
But even if it wasn't working it sure looks mighty fine having 2 of those animals in the same room, dunnit?
