Wheres the bass? Dull and boring!

Dull and uninspired arrangement... Just tried to create some bass...

bass needs to be in mono, currently it sounds very stereo so its spreading out between the speakers and not really having the impact it should have and being smothered by everything else. The drum track is nice though but again its not really having that much of an impact on my speakers. There is a nice little hum though if i turn it up really really loud.

Try running the drum track and the bass track in mono and carefully levelling them both off so they dont compete too much with each other (if the drum gets smothered find a nice snap type drum.. something with a click at the front and eq it higher up that usually sets the drum apart from the rest of the tune so the brain can distinguish everytime it hears the tpp type noise theres a bass signature attached to it) the good thing about those nice little square basses is you can really go fucking apeshit with them, turn it up full blast and it still wont cause much of a headache.

Just listened to this on my dj speakers and well yeap the bass definitely just needs to be pushed a tad forward and you'll have yourself one heck of a stormer.
