Maurice Jarre R.I.P

Post by Analog-X64 »

I didnt know Maurice Jarre. who ofcourse was the Father of Jean Michel Jarre passed away on March 28, 2009 (aged 84).

Maurice would have been 24-25 years old when JMJ was born considering JMJ is now 60 years old.

Maurice Jarre has been extremely productive in scoring films. You can see the list here.

I first noticed him for making the music for Shogun and since then I've kept noticing him - he has landed a lot of contracts for now well known movies.

He made the music for Dr.Shiwago.
Very creative man. May he rest in peace. :(
