Play with these samples

This tune is perfect for a trancey remix:

I extracted the "main part" of the song (that catchy part).
http://mordi.ziphoid.com/data/stuff/Mm%20whatchasay.wav
I then extracted two parts from that for easy implementation in FL Studio:
http://mordi.ziphoid.com/data/stuff/Wha ... %20(1).wav
http://mordi.ziphoid.com/data/stuff/Wha ... %20(2).wav
The timing in them is not perfect, but close enough.
It seems the BPM is
124.
I thought maybe someone would be interested in playing with them and making a remix of sorts? Maybe even a C64/Amiga remix can be made with this. (Amok? Infamous?)
I spent some time making a short mix:
.mp3
Feel free to copy any melodies you like here to make your own remix.

The Original tune is from Imogen Heap called "Hide And Seek" 2005 Megaphonic Records.
Look Watch
You Don't have to extract the vocals from that other song, just take the Original, the whole song is a vocoded acapella.

That's what I have done. Taken that part from the original tune. I didn't want to put the whole song here, since that is probably even more illegal than what I have done here. :p
Amok: Do a search on "Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek" and you'll find it eventually.

Maybe you can help me please, Mordi?
Edit: just played with my midi-keyboard but i fear that sounds completely wrong!?

Don't have access to the youtube link you've posted, so i thought you have extracted the vocals from that famous hip hop remake going round the world (don't remember the name anymore). That guys only took the acapella and filled it with a beat and spoken words. In this song is a long part from the original tune so i thought you have "extracted" it there.
Good luck remixing it guys, it's a very special and unique number.

Im still waiting for ideas to spice the arrangement up 'cause it is pretty boring...

I can't hear this song anymore without wanting to laugh due to SNL's "Dear Sister" parody of The O.C. and the countless imitators. I wish I had something more substantial to say, but there it is.
cheers.
