SID in a Lexus commercial?

I've heard lots of SID in lots of places recently......but not here I'm afraid. I hear the sound you mean, but it's just analog synth to me.

Actually, it's more of an obsession. If you ask me, I hear SID sounds even in Daft Punk's Tron soundtrack.

Actually my brother said the same about the Tron Legacy soundtrack, he thought he could hear stuff from "those old C64 games you played" during the film...

Ha - I hear you loud and clear Lala. Been in some sticky situations myself when I've heard a tune/sound in a bar or during a movie and found myself pronouncing to the world (or anyone in earshot) - "that's pure c64 SID that is!"......then wishing the inner geek in me would know when to stay quite.

Of course, the chances are it isn't SID (in the Lexus commercial or Tron Legacy) but sounds with waveforms that are similar to what the SID can produce...
