That one's simple*: the SID in HVSC plays much too slow (even when it's put to NTSC in Sidplay), and the source code was on a 3.5" disk we couldn't read without an ST. The day before the project had to go to the duplicators Boz managed to rescue one of the early Times of Lore files, since the main one seemed to be corrupt: but it didn't compile properly in his cross-assembler, probably due to new instructions in the later iterations of the Ocean Development System.
So basically there was no Times of Lore that played as Martin wanted it to, so it's saved for the DVD, where it is guaranteed to make an appearance with all of the four possible guitar solos included.
Now I've saved Boz some typing, but I'm sure he'll add extra texture to the above ramblings

I was just glad that "Game Over" was on there... my fave tune ..... Still, its understandable you can't fit everyone's fave tune on, but then the DVD will be worth the wait ....
Soz to hear about Times Of Lore too.... maybe something will turn up in surprise on that one

Martin's not that keen on it, so it was a prime candidate for missing off. As usual, it'll be on the DVD tho'.

cheers larsec & chris. will the dvd be video or data? i mean, will i be able to play it on a dvd player or will i have to play it on a pc?
