Faults @ AmigaRemix.com

Post by Dr.Future »

Hi ya,

concerning the releases 02.07.2013, the Rating-Button doesn't work.

And...maybe anyone could update the news - "Happy New Year" look very very old by now...

Mailed this some time ago directly to the site-maintainer, but it seems the mail did not get through...

Anyway, fantastic work with AR! :worship:

I mentioned it to Ziphoid on IRC, voting should be working now.

Thanks Dumper!

Well, it still goes "happy new year", but who cares? Ziphoid is doing such a great work anyway!

Is there some sort of embedded player in AmigaRemix? When clicking on an mp3 link, I used to get the "Open with.../Save" window in my browser (Pale Moon - Firefox based), but a now that's not possible and a strange player window with no controls appears and plays. I've tried disabling all plug-ins and add-ons but the player still comes up.

It's Firefoxes inbuilt media player. It will play the mp3 if it finds an mp3 codec in your system.

You should be able to change the behaviour in the Settings -> Applications > MPEG Layer 3 Audio

Thanks. Strange, I've changed that setting (and almost all else) to "always ask". I'll see what I can do, probably browser-related.

update: fixed
