Information:
My interest in making computer music came up, when i had my own copy of soundtracker
and the magic disk with the label st-01
😉
It contained all those wonderful samples i loved from tunes like amegas, crystalhammer or the D.O.C demo. I think you all know what i mean.
I started to experiment a bit… but after some time the limited amount of samples bored me…
When ProTracker was release and Steve and me rebuilt an TechnoSound Turbo
on Lochrasterplatine
😉 hehe
This was my most productive time on Amiga. HMC and me had a local crew tryin to make our own HipHop Tracks based on intrumentals we made with ProTracker… funny days we had….
You can listen to these productions and some new stuff at https://www.0acht15.net
The Site looks ugly, but you can check out some tunes. I will add some Remixes of classic C64 and Amiga tunes as well…
Late in 1994 i started to track on x-tracker on PC. It was kinda cruel textmode editing, but with screamtrakcer and fasttracker there came very good and usable trackers.
Now i use an VST environment and songs get exported as mp3s, just as nearly every composer does…
Greets and respect fly out to:
- HMC / ALCATRAZ
- OxyGenE
- STEVE
- Virgill
- Morph
- all the guys involved in scene music and remixes. peace to y'all…..
