In case you missed what was released on RKO and AmigaRemix.com in January 2025, the latest edition of Remix News gives you a summary of it all! With a total of 19 releases in that month alone, it was a great start of the year!

And yes, yet again we've fallen behind with the Remix News, but we are hard at work to catch up! 🙂

AmigaLive on Twitch is having their yearly AMIGApril event and Fluke73 is taking part in this by playing Amiga Music Live for 30 days. (That's one show EVERY DAY for 30 days!) The shows will mostly be on at 22:00 (CET) every day with some adjustments for each day if needed.

On Tuesday, April 1, 2025 SLAY Radio will feature an Amiga-exclusive live show for the first time, hosted by iZero. Tune in at 20:00 (CET) to listen to it!

On March 27th none other than 2024's Remixer of the Year Eivind Sommersten was the guest on SLAY Radio's weekly live radio program. The wide-ranging interview with him is available in its entirety on YouTube at the link below.

If you are in the southern part of Sweden you now have the oportunity to see Fluke73 live at Hoardershop in Helsingborg on Saturday March 29 between 11-16 CET. It's their 1 year anniversary and they are celebrating with a nerd market (Nördmässa).

It was just announced that ZZAP! Live will be returning this year, too, expanded to a 2-day event to be held in Kenilworth, UK on May 17 and 18, 2025. Of particular interest to SID music fans is that the Musician QA session will also return, yet again hosted by Peter Clarke on Saturday evening (May 17) at 7pm (local time). And this time SLAY Radio will also be in full force at the event, in person, and live streaming it all, with Slaygon, Ziona and Boz behind the mike. Many notable names from the C64's heydays are confirmed guests, with several more expected to be confirmed in the coming days and weeks. Matt Gray has posted a preview of another track from this upcoming Reformation 5 album - this time it's a rework of his now 10 year old remix of Sanxion Loading Theme. Check it out at on Soundcloud at the link below! Reformation 5 is also available to pre-order at 6581 Records.

Matt Gray has recently re-released his Reformation series albums on Bandcamp, including a new compilation titled JSR Play 3, which contains a selection of tracks from his first Reformation album. All these albums - and several more physical items - are still available via his own online shop, too. Links below.

The always highly anticipated annual Remixer of the Year (ROTY) awards now has a date, and this year it will be on Saturday, Feb 22, 2025 at 18:00 (CET)! Yet again it will be hosted by SLAY Radio where Slaygon and Ziona will be joined by Boz as the presenters. As usual, Scenesat will also simulcast the event. Which tunes will win the Best C64 and Best Amiga Remix awards? Who was voted the Best Newcomer and the Best Veteran? And who will win the coveted Remixer of the Year award for 2024?
