Story

Hi everyone,

I’m Alex, and I'm new to the world of music production. I’m happy to share my first remix with you. When I was a child, this tune intrigued me greatly and contributed to giving the game that horror atmosphere that almost scared me. It’s amusing to look back at it today. I decided to create this remix to try and modernize that atmosphere and ask the universe for the release of a new chapter in the saga.

I hope you enjoy it, and I thank you in advance for any feedback, which will help me improve in this new/late journey of mine.

Thank you!

This is quite nice! I like the idea with the kick/thump but it's fairly overpowering, the nice ostenatums disappear behind it. I also miss a little more dynamic variety in the arrangement.
A very nice horror theme :)
I really like this stuff. Scary and deeply atmospheric. Perfect for a Halloween party, even now :)

The creepiness factor in your instrument selection is definitely there, it creates the intended atmosphere. Problem is, this tune (and your arrangement of it) has lots of repetitive notes in it, and to make it sound less robotic, you either need instruments with several round-robin samples, or you need to introduce some subtle variations yourself (filtering, or other effects with an LFO).

The thumps were also a good idea, but I find the sidechaining on it too strong, as it overpowers everything else.

The strings give out a certain Stranger Things vibe to me, but again, they sound a bit too robotic.

Overall, an ambitious endeavor, but I think this gem of an idea wasn't polished well enough.

But I'm looking forward to more remixes from you!
