Story
This song dates back to 2000.

This is a short tune used to test an orchestral setup for the Roland JV1080.
It is a stock JV1080 without the orchestral expansion packs.

However all patches were custom programmed to have a proportional/differential control scheme. The MIDI-velocity controls attack hardness while the expression slider controls volume.

Done with JazzWin32 midi software and recorded from the Synth to the HDD, then + reverb, eq and limiting.

And yes, it was a work in progress, but I since I have no longer the synth nor the midi files, the only thing I can do is upload it to RKO

I can't help but like this "free enterpitation". The sound is of course not up to date, the remix being six years old and all, but I still enjoy it. Too bad it's so short.
Did someone say American mini-series? This sort of soundtrack would fit that perfectly and it has a nice flow and feel while keeping bits of Warhawk intact. Soup this one up and make it longer!!
HAHA! Not sure if this should end up on RKO seeing it is based on the original 70's TV cop show
Damn too short
Heh, I like what he's done. Way too short though.
OK
Very nice, but much too short.
Short but sweet.
Too short, imho... And I fail to see the relation with proteus/warhawk soundtrack.
Its a nice arrangement - but surely its a WIP it is as everyone states just too short but its lovelly. Nice work (in progres)
This is very well arranged and very professionally... Excellent work!
Shows a lot of creativity. Orchestral arrangement still needs improvement, too dry and too short. Almost sounds like a sketch only.
It's a tv series tune all right...!
Damn, too too short!
Surprising, how much can be done with the Warhawk theme, which is one of the grandest pieces of music composition ever made on the C64. Nice harmonic variation from the original. With better instruments, this could get an "Outstanding" from me.
Typical ending of an american movie. A bit off at the end, but gets plus for the originality.
