Not bad!
Great
Good beat, very good arrangement, but leaving the SID sound as the lead was a bit of a mistake. Great effort!
Fantastic!!

I wont go into the technical aspect of this remix, all I know is that it sounds good. And what more could you possibly need? Some excellent guitar, a thumping beat and a classy sheen? You got it.
I was going to remix this sid myself. Consider that scrapped folks, this is the definitive version. Makes me want to roam the mean streets with a baseball bat. 😃

Generally I was pleased with the overall sound. Driving guitar,
easy dance beat and was fairly well produced. Although he could have spent
a bit more time on it.
The 'Sid type' sound which provided the main melody line of the song let
the arrangement down considerably. It seemed to take the life away from the
punching original sid. The drive of the rest of the instruments was there.
Perhaps a guitar line melody throughout the song would have been more appropriate, with some sort of phaser effect perhaps.
I did love the 'Brian May' type guitar orchestration which he seems to do
quite well usually.
Unfortunately when the MIDI drums were being recorded, they occasionally
went out of time. I noticed this a lot towards the end of the song.
Doesn't quite make me want to grab my baseball bat and start roaming the
streets. It is better than some of his other efforts I've heard, which incidently did make me want to grab a baseball bat and have it roam around
his face.
Overall a good job but hoping for artistic improvement next time. Keep
an eye out for a joint venture between us… A remix of 'Speedball'
