Story
way of work
i load the orginal music file and installed mad tracker ( i was very skilled with protracker many years ago but i realized i lost the speed of editing but no trouble there .. i took out the pling plong channel and exported that solo as midi. somehow mad tracker or the mid importer fucked up the tempo so after i imported the midi file in reason 3.0 from propellahead i had to retouch each note to set it right to the position. i set up an nx-19 load the pling plong sample which i exported befor via mad tracker to ensure the orginal flow. next job was the synth which played the octave down up down with large hall effect and echo. first i exported a wave in madtracker imported to acid 5.0 adjusted the tempo via pitch exported as wav imported to recycle to create a rex file for reason. after it was load in reason too i started to replay the same synth with another generated synth to make it sound more clean. hall and echo also on and some delay effects. the guitar like sound is not a guitar i took a voice with the damage thingy distortion and added the same signal as vocoded input to the same distortion. the output limited and channeld via the vocoder as equilizer. the voice used the same vocoder effect. bassdrum and hihats are standart sets from reason no drag drop ryhtm but i used the samples from reason. except the snaredrum which i also ripped from somewhere i belive it was some c64 remix track. the strings are regular nn19 strings of reason the first in the nn19/strings folder just no fade in or fade out and the sample start is in the middle of the wave. the end end synth is the same as the starting one which sounds like the guitar but without the distortion and some phasing effect. the results are boosted via premastering in reason and final mastering in soundforge 6 via the plugin "waves" the final result was encoded with lame encoder which provides the best quality to me. i test from time to time all codecs.

i loved utopia in fact i still play it from time to time. and i belive it is nessessary or at least helpfull if you love a game to catch the spirit and keep the magic of the game. i hope some people have fun listening to this track and i hope they can enjoy it. this way i hope i can give something back to this great website and all people behind it people who help to keep it the way it is people who do that kind of music. its nice soo much heart and feelings in music music which is presented here is not made for money it comes from the heart and i belive you can hear that. thank you all for your great work. keep going and thanks to all

Never heard the original, but this remix got some kind of magic feeling. Great stuff!
The last minute was the best IMO. Great potential here but too much chaos and industrial sounds...
I likes it!
This track sounds like it was a leftover from Chemical Brothers Push the Button album. Really nice tune, Dayta! I hope you'll make more remixes.
Industrial stuff indeed, veery nice, on my mp3 player.
I'm impressed
Simply awesome
WOW! Very good remix, I like it
Great work!
Killerbeat I love it :D
Rap's great, but it's the way it's with the (slightly weird) background music that does it for me.
Wowowow, what a suprise. What did you with Utopia?!? What a cool mix!!!
I’ve always loved the music of Utopia, and this remix is totally awesome. Thanks Dayta! I hope you release something else on amigaremix one day.
